Mint Chocolate chip Stout All Grain

Rich in coffee chocolate body. Sweet mint in each swing. Dark as midnight in color, even the foamy head is brown.

Great Stout

Brewed exactly by the recipe on my Brewzilla at it came out great. The OG came in a little low at 1.062 but it finished at 1.016. Tasted smooth and chocolaty with just the right amount of mint. A perfect holiday stout!

Mint Chocochip review

Don't like the mint chocolate essence in the bottle. Not as good as the chocolate nibs and the mint leaves.

Good Holiday Treat

Added the dram of mint flavoring on bottling day and after sampling decided to fortify the batch with some peppermint schnapps to bring out the mint a little more. The schnapps did the trick. After about 2 months in the bottle, this was a smooth stout with a hint of mint flavor.
