Mosaic is the icon of single-hop complexity. Its kaleidoscope of tantalizing citrus, pine, tropical fruit, and berry notes decorate each golden-copper hued glass, alluding to an IPA recipe kit with many more varieties of hops. Capped in a thick, ivory froth, a meticulous arrangement of malts lends subtle caramel sweetness to a modest, bready backbone. Mosaic hops burst up from the depths in a prismatic eruption; each wave of evergreen grapefruit overwhelmed by sweeping pineapple-mango herbals. This spectral motif quiets into abstract bitterness for a smooth, refreshing, hop-forward finish.

Upfront I'll confess my tastes lean heavily to the maltier robust beers. I ordered this to have something on shelf for my hoppier-beer-loving friends. Brewed according to recipe except ... when final gravity reached anticipated numbers, I bottled it, totally forgetting to do the dry-hopping.
I'm finding my result very drinkable (and have not had occasion to share with others to get other opinions), tho I'm finding it ended a bit heady, so I can only pour half-bottle then wait for head to settle (or slurp off the foam), repeating the process as needed to finish pouring the bottle.
