Horrible Packaging

This was the first time I've received this level of packaging oversight. The grains were in an enormous bag that didn't feel like it was even meant to hold food grade contents. It was very hard to pour from. Additionally the grain bag that was provided was way too small to hold all the grains. I wound up using an extra hop sock I happened to have, but it still wasn't great. The grain bag still didn't have a lot of room to expand. The LME was in these taller, narrow bottles, which definitely had me missing the silver bags that they had been using. I hope they go back to the thoughtful packing they've previously had.

More Peanut Butter

Second time brewed. This time I wanted more depth. Last 10 minutes of boil added lactose to make it creamier. Threw in 1 lb of PB2 with Cocoa in the secondary. Added an additional 4 ounces of Peanut Butter extract just before kegging.

Great nutty stout

Not too peanutbutterey, more nutty but nice and satisfying.
