More Peanut Butter

Second time brewed. This time I wanted more depth. Last 10 minutes of boil added lactose to make it creamier. Threw in 1 lb of PB2 with Cocoa in the secondary. Added an additional 4 ounces of Peanut Butter extract just before kegging.

Fantastic with some additions

This is a great peanut butter base beer. I perked it up with the following: 1) 16 oz of Orange Blossom Honey @ 1 minute left in Boil 2) 8 oz of Hershey's Special Dark Syrup, no boil, just poured straight into Secondary Fermentation. 3) 14 oz of unsalted peanuts, shelled and washed, cooked in oven at 350F for 25 minutes. Once cooled, added to Secondary Fermentation. You'll get a fantastic roasted peanut butter flavor and smell, with a great chocolate taste as well. The peanuts will get rid of the head a bit, but you'll drink it too fast to notice.
