This red ale is just straight up good. It won't knock your knocks off, but everyone will like it. Toasty, malty sweetness sums it up well. Not heavy at all. Easy drinker.

BREW THIS!!!

I purchased two of these five gallon all grain kits to brew a 10 gallon batch and take a break from the bitter IPAs. I went ahead and added 3 lbs of rolled oats for creaminess. WOW talk about impressed !!! I just moved half of it to a keg still needs a bit more time to carb and settle out but so far the taste is on point. Slightly creamy with that all grain feel super smooth to drink. I will be moving the other half to bombers tomorrow they will be ready in about another two weeks. Wyeast 1056 OG 1.050 FG 1.010 5.25 ABV 14 days fermentation with a rack at 7 days.

Came free with Grainfather purchase

This beer turned out remarkably good, no great! I made this recipe for the 1st time brewing with The Grainfather. I split up (14 g each) the flavor/aroma addition hops at 15 and 5 minutes (before knockout). Great amber color, sweet (I'm guessing from the large percentage of CaraFoam), and a smooth bittering from the Willamette hops. I will definitely brew this again!
