Gooder Than Guinness Stout Recipe Kit

This very simple, low gravity Dry Stout is an all-time favorite of mine. With a low ABV you'll find it hard to have just one. I highly recommend using an Irish ale yeast with this one but you can find great results using the S-04 dry yeast as well. This beer is great served as is. Put it on a nitro system, and it rocks!

Good!

This kit produces a really good beer for a very reasonable price. I bought this kit as my first attempt at making beer, and here I am, back for more.

Good beer

I am really enjoying this, but like a few other reviewers, not exactly what I was expecting and is really nothing like Guinness. Not really much like a stout either. The color is more chocolate brown. However its a great tasting beer with rich notes and flavors. Easy to make and easy to drink!

Smooth dark stout

It's not quite Guinness but it's a tasty stout that I really enjoy. Also you can't complain about the price.

Good, but not what I expected

This was a really good beer, but not at all what I was expecting. Based on the name I was expecting something similar to Guinness Stout. In my opinion this came across more as a Dark Brown Ale than a stout. While the flavor was good it did not have that coffee like taste that I usually associate with Stouts, and while dark it was not black. I still greatly enjoyed the beer and will brew it again.
