As close as it gets

I brewed this for a friend who mainly drinks Yuengling. I brewed it as a lager with no changes to the recipe. We had a blind taste test between the original and the one I brewed. Both tasted very close to each other. He tasted back and forth between the two and he chose the one he thought was the original. It was not. The winner was the one I brewed from the AIH all grain kit. If you like the original, you canít go wrong with this kit.

Brewed this one as an ale, used sa-05 came out fantastic. More body and a better flavor then the original.. will brew again.

Good Recipe

Used Saflager 23. Good beer, similar to the original but better.

I drink Yuengling all the time

I decided to give this a try since Yuengling is my go to beer. This all grain recipe is close to the original. This recipe seems to be slightly more citrusy. I actually prefer this recipe over the original. My friends all loved it.

Better than the original

I brewed this recipe for a buddy of mine and my neighbor has brewed it 3 times now. A little maltier and more flavorful than actual Yuengling, but we think the added body and flavor make it better than the original. We brew this Yuengling recipe as an ale and use the White Labs 001 yeast.
