Great Recipe

Compares closely with New Belgium Tripple, very good. I was surprised that it was good to start drinking as soon as kegged, didn't have to settle or age, unusual for a high gravity beer. Note: used with Wyeast liquid yeast, high gravity Belgian, may have influenced the good results.

Beer Making Made Easy

I've used Brewers Best kits for years. They include all the ingredients you need to make beer at home. Results have varied slightly over the years but never because of the kits - keeping the correct fermenting temperature is my challenge. I look forward to the Belgian Tripel. I achieved the correct ABV and the beer is now bottled. In three weeks I'll know how well the kit worked. The kits are great for beginners and those who want to make their own beer but are not into too much experimentation.

Best beer I have brewed

We had a trip at a little brewery in New Orleans....I had to brew at home, it is great...high gravity, great taste...top of the line..be patient, it is worth it.

Long slow beer

This was my first true partial mash brew. The instructions stated that bottle carbonation will take two weeks, possibly longer given the usual circumstances. I started opening a bottle at the two week mark, and it was not done conditioning. It took 7 full weeks to get to it's best position. Now, its a super beer and my friends really enjoy it.
