Nothing special

Brewed all grain on a propane HERMS rig with BrewPi Spark 3 for temperature control. From the primary, beer is mostly tasteless with a defining bitter taste on the tongue. Added orange extract in the secondary with little improvement in taste. Overall, pretty disappointing. Hope it's due to something on my end as opposed to the recipe itself, though I wondered about the flavor extract from the beginning. Compared to a peach wheat I just made (where the base beer was also quite tasteless but improved drastically after adding peach puree in the secondary), I'm kinda disappointed, but not entirely given the use of flavor extract.
