It worked great in my 1 gallon jugs for making mead. No worries or fighting with the siphon tube.
I typically bottle condition most of my beers and use a bottling bucket without a spigot on to bottom. This little clamp simply snaps on to the auto-siphon and then clips over the top of my 5 gallon bucket to free up both my hands to use the wand and move the bottles around. Just one less thing to have to juggle around during the often tedious task of bottling. Would recommend!
This worked great on a 1 gallon carboy. It allowed me to "clip it and forget it". It freed my hands to deal with the other end of the syphon hose while bottling.
