Pacifico Clone Recipe Kit

Have always enjoyed Pacifico when visiting Mexico, so I tried this recipe recently. Used a Mexican yeast and ran a taste-testing with a store bought bottle! Mine won hands down. So very similar will be on my to-make list for many times in the future.

Used this kit as the basis of trying to make a clone of the DR's Presidente. Used additional sugar in the wort to raise the alcohol content closer to Presidente's 5.5%. Color a bit darker than Presidente, but did turn out to be a flavorful brew. Even bottled it in Presedente bottles for good measure. Would brew this kit again!

This beer was a really solid choice for the beach. It was a little heavier than the real thing but still was in the lighter side of home brews. Delicious choice and will definitely try later this summer.
