Not sure yet

This is the second time I am trying this one but without adding the corn sugar. The first time I brewed it, there was a strong alcohol after taste. In fact, when I took the lid off the fermentor, it smelled like I had a bucket of alcohol instead of beer. The after taste mellowed a little after about 8 weeks.

Fantastic extract kit

As a fairly novice brewer this was my first time making a proper yeast starter with stir plate. I also kept the fermentation at a constant 75 F with the use of an aquarium heater, another first for me. Here are the numbers: OG: 1.059 FG 1.008 , ABV 6.7 %. The result is fantastic, one of the best beers I ever managed to make. Love the sweetness and the malt-forward profile. The AIH kits are excellent, my favorite for sure.

Perfect for everyday

Ferments quickly with the safale option. Kegged it and enjoyed til the last drop. It's a little darker than you would expect, nice head and amazing flavor. It will be bought again.
