It did its job as usual
The must of my grape/rhubarb is in its sixth day in the primary fermentation bucket. The Lalvin 1116 yeast was noticeably active within 24 hours of casting and has been vigorous ever since. Specific gravity dropped from an initial reading of 1.090 to 1,040 by day five. Planning to transfer to secondary fermentation carboy on the seventh day. Very happy with this yeast.
First time with this yeast and Iím not disappointed! Great job at bringing out fruityness!
Started and bubbled pretty good.
It has been about 3 weeks and it is about done, now... Waiting for total clarity to rack and test. Worked well.
