Great Lakes Christmas Ale Clone All Grain Recipe

I brewed this beer again for a shift party we host. It was a request by a number of people who loved it last year. It certainly didn’t disappoint. My friends drank the heck out of this beer and all they had was compliments for it! It is also my favorite to brew and turns out amazing.

Brewed everything according to the directions and would only recommend 1 change. Use fresh ginger root. Everything came out great even in a side by side but it had a hint of earthiness that I noticed when I had opened the ginger package.

Just tapped the keg last night and the kit turned out great. I was also impressed that it came with everything needed including the honey. I had assumed I'd need to provide that separately. However, the shipped ingredients were slightly different than the instructions required but a quick email to AIH solved the problem.
