Floating Thermometer

I have used this thermometer for 10 years and its great. I recently broke it putting it back into the tube it came in because I took off the bottom stopper thinking it was the top one which was already off and slid right down to the floor. It's a good one. Never had a problem replacing the one I broke with a new one. You take care of it and it works well.

It floats it reads the right temp but is just too brittle it broke the second time I used it. Glass all over the mash tun had to throw it all out. I'm bummed. Do yourself a favor and just get a dial thermometer that can be calibrated or a good digital one. Like I said it works but just not worth it. Breaks very very easy don't be fooled on this one.
