This is the first time I ordered an extract recipe and the specialty grains had not been milled. I do not have a mill. With other suppliers it will ask if you want them milled if you are getting an all grain recipe, but not on an extract. This is very inconvenient. The only means I have is to put them between 2 sheets of wax paper and using a rolling pin to crush them.
I have been home brewing for over 2 years and do mostly extract. This is the first time I ordered an extract recipe and the specialty grains were not pre milled. If this is normal for the wood chipper recipe it should have mentioned somewhere.
