Take control of your fermentation with the FermoTemp® electric heat wrap.
To consistently create your favorite beer or wine you'll need precise control of your fermenter's temperature. Attach the FermoTemp to a glass, plastic, or stainless steel carboy using electrical tape. Extra thick construction ensures durability to withstand the knocks and bumps encountered in your brewhouse.
For optimal results, use with an electronic temperature controller, such as our Dual-Stage Temp Controller.

Heater works as expected and is a great value.
These work excellent for tempature controlled Fermentation, and at the price they are a no brainer.
OK, so it looks and feels kind of flimsy, but I'll tell you, it did exactly what I needed it to do, and instead of hassling with all the other ways I used to keep my fermenter warm (13 gallon stainless steel variable top), this has been hassle free; for that I'm grateful and thus give it a 5 star rating. My garage has been in the 30's (outside it's in 20's) every night. I simply put two old coats around the fermenter on top of the wrap, and it does the trick; no other worries. I'm glad I got it; hope it continues to hold up. If it works for just two years, I will have felt that the $ is well spent.
This is a great addition, very functional. It even works well on a SS Cronical although hard to wrap around it with the legs and handles in the way. It took less than two hours raising the temp from 65F to 71F on a carboy as pictured. I am very pleased with this.
This thing in combination of a thermowell and Inkbird keep my fermenting ale wort within 1 degree of the set temperature in the cold Ohio winter with ambient air temp in the mid to low 50's. I use this on my 6 gallon glass and plastic carboys. My only concern with this product is the way the cables are attached to the heat wrap--they feel like they can be easily damaged and broken, so be careful!
