Dessert wines are the under-appreciated secret to a great cellar. There's nothing like finishing a great meal paired with excellent wines like pulling out a rich, satisfying bottle of decadent lusciousness. Sweet, but not overwhelming, these wines pair gorgeously with dessert, but can be served on their own. Versatile as well, they're excellent lightly chilled in summer and richly warming by the fire in winter. Usually dominated by their fruit when young, they get deeper, with darker, more intense flavors rising as they age.
