In need of a sturdy, glass or plastic carboy for home brewing? We carry 1/2 gallon to 31 gallon fermenters with several sizes inbetween, including 3 gallon, 5 gallon, 6 gallon, and 6.5 gallon carboys among others. With proper care glass fermenters can last a lifetime as they do not scratch, which can create tiny crevices for wild yeast and bacteria to hide, and don't hold any odors (some people claim plastic carboys can hold odors). Plastic fermenters are not without their merits however.
Plastic carboys are made of a special PET that is food grade non-absorbing, non-porous and does not stain or carry off flavors from one fermentation to the next. They are nearly unbreakable, lightweight, and easier to wash and sanitize.
