Apparent Attenuation Range (%) : 74-78

Alcohol Tolerance : 11-12% or Higher

Best Styles : Belgian Blonde/Dubbel/Trippel/Golden Strong/Quadrupel

Looking for a Liquid or Dry Yeast Substitution? The brewers at Adventures in Homebrewing have tried most of them. The following are some suggestions that have worked for us.
Liquid Yeast Substitution : White Labs 530
Dry Yeast Substitution : Abbaye Ale Yeast (Danstar), Nottingham

Want to make a Yeast Starter? Home brewers are always led to believe making a yeast starter is for the advanced brewer. This could not be further from the truth. If anything beginning brewers should start with yeast starters. When you think about it they are nothing more than a small extract brew. Show Me How To Make A Yeast Starter

The dangers of shipping in a heat wave...

I've always had good results from this yeast and will certainly use it again. Unfortunately, there was a big heatwave going on and the yeast was dead. I couldn't revive it with a starter, but I had a pack of yeast I use for mead on hand and that fermented the wort. It will be interesting to try this beer when it is ready!

Hard to mess up this kit

Really good beer, I usually find a way to screw something up. This batch turned out great despite my lack of brewing skills.

Tripel go to

My go to for my Tripels - def do a 2500ml starter or you can double pitch. Flawless. Everyone loves Wyeast over the WLP.

Great Product

I was surprised this batch was good to start drinking as soon as kegged, didn't have to settle or age, unusual for a high gravity beer, I'm assuming this specific yeast had a lot to do with that. Note: used with Brewers Best Belgian Trippel, compares in this combination to New Belgium Trippel.
