Wooden Mash Paddle - The Kero

This is a huge paddle! It seems well made and is quite good looking. I can't believe I got this for the low price charged.

After sanding a bit to smooth out the rough edges, I fastened a short piece of 3/4" dowel to the top of the handle to improve the leverage. It works much better than my long plastic spoon, which would flex when trying to stir the mash during dough in.

This mash paddle works great. The price is very reasonable. Can't recommend this enough.

I bought this paddle, to replace a small plastic one I had. It was a debate between this and a stainless steel paddle. I opted for this wooden one to reduce the chances of scratching the kettle. I must say this thing does exactly what it's designed to do and it feels great. Can't recommend it enough!

Superior mixing with less work required than flat steel paddle, good leverage and grip when things get messy, nice woodwork, no rust, cleans up easily excellent value.
