Easy to make
I've been brewing extract beers for about 1.5 years now, this was my first time with a wine. Initially I was a little scared but the end result is amazingly delicious with minimal fuss. If you like the Fetzer Gewurztraminer, this is just like it -- only 5 gallons of it, which produced (for me) ~27 bottles. At first it was extremely fruity with noticeable green apple flavor, but after bottling (and corking! get yourself a floor corker, you'll thank yourself) it took on a much more pear/peach-y flavor. You really can't go wrong with this; I fermented in a SS Brewtech FTS2 (w/heating) fermenter and used a drill-based stirrer to get everything mixed. Yield was ~27 bottles, a few of which made it to friends and family.
Batch is still in process with about 2 weeks to go. So far it's been great. Easy to follow instructions and early tasting gives me high hopes for the final product.
This was an easy to follow kit and produced a delightful wine! My wife said to buy another.
This is one of my favorite white wines. Never disappoints.
