Want to make a Yeast Starter? Home brewers are always led to believe making a yeast starter is for the advanced brewer. This could not be further from the truth. If anything beginning brewers should start with yeast starters. When you think about it they are nothing more than a small extract brew. Show Me How To Make A Yeast Starter

I used this in combination with WLP300 (hefeweizen yeast) and it was perfect. Brewed for a friend's party and I only had 2 weeks from brew day to party. Great beer to drink fresh.

Great yeast for a wit

Slow starter. You have to roust the yeast after the first 2 or 3 days then watch out as it really takes off.

Worried

I have the Cerveza bottled and aging now. The yeast came with an ice pack that was fully Melted. Iím a little worried about yeast count. Now I wish I had a yeast starter. I hope the heat did not kill the yeast it was an extremely hot delivery day. I will update the blue moon clone recipe once we bottle and taste.

Absolute must

My neighbor and I brew the Blue Moon Clone on a normal basis. This is the yeast that makes that kit come to the bliss that it is. Great product.
