I still stand by my initial review but after making several batches, I noticed 1 tiny flaw and that is the carbon cartirdge venting system. Bugs and other things can still get into your batch through the venting system. So I will be uping my game with a glass carboy and airlock system.

It's great

This is all you need to start a small table top sized home distillery. The fementer holds 2.6 gallons or 10 liters and comes with a plastic spoon which fits perfectly inside the fermenter. Unfortunately the stick on thermometer which is in Celcius didn't quite work for me in terms of sticking to the fermenter itself but I prefer to use my digital thermometer instead. The fermenter does come with a tap and 2 washers. You put one washer on the inside and one on the outside and hand tighten it and it does not leak. It also comes with a graduated collection container and a carbon filter collection system which you need to run 2 cups of hot water through before the first use. It also comes with the distillers conditioner which keeps your washing from foaming up during distillation and to keep an even boil, some ceramic raschig rings. The lid to the fermenter already has the carbon cartridge attached to it which will eliminate the smells that occur from fermenting. The fermenter is also graduated and has the measurements embossed on this inside. I could not be happier with this purchase and this kit is perfect for small 2 and 3 gallon stills.
