Pumpkin Latte Pumpkin Ale Recipe Kit

I brewed this as a donation for a local fundraiser event last fall. It was a great hit and one of the first ones that we ran out of. Attendees as well as the local homebrewer club I belong loved it. Recommend highly.

Some hesitation buying a kit with pumpkin spice but oh man it delivers! The vanilla and lactose it all just works. I didn't add any extra pumpkin and it still tastes amazing.

I have brewed many pumpkin ales and this is by far the best recipe. Generous grains and spices as well as lactose sugar make for full bodied complexity. The result was a very drinkable, delicious beer! Half way through the keg and it's only been a week! This is the best kept secret when it comes to pumpkin ales. I can't believe more people haven't discovered this!

I was really curious about the lactose product included in this kit. Did the brewing and this is one of the deepest, most mellow flavored products I've ever done. I added 1 lb. of canned pumpkin to the grain steeping in a cheesecloth bag - was not disappointed in the flavor, the rich, deep texture, or the vanilla bean finish. I added the whole spice pack. The amount of flavor this packs is stunning. I re-ordered to have this on hand in November.. it won't last until December...we'll have consumed it all.. :-)

Iíve been brewing for more than 10 years although this is the first time Iíve brewed this Kit. The flavor is great and the mouth feel matches the description. I chose to only use half of the spice packet because I added it directly to the keg rather than the fermenter. Iíd buy this kit again.
