Glycerine USP is used as a finishing formula to smooth out and mellow wine and liqueurs. It will also add body to finished wines and liqueurs.
Use Glycerine in your wine to give it more body. Glycerine will increases the wine`s mouth-feel. Glycerine will also smooth some harsh characteristics in young wines.

I use this product in just about all the flavors I make. It does add a little sweetness to the flavor but it helps the flavor hang on your tongue a little longer. It also takes the sharp alchohol edge off of some of your higher proof mixes.
