I'm brewing an all grain Summer Wheat with a starting gravity of 1.054 four days later It's at 1.006 if I didn't know better I'd think I had used a Kveik Yeast
I’ve been home brewing for a couple years now and would like to say I’m very precise when brewing. I know how important that is so that the results come out well. This yeast seemed weak or stressed. After my gravity meter plateaued my alcohol concentration was only around 2. I needed to supplement with a second yeast and this helped raise the ABV but naturally altered the flavor a bit.
AIHB are the best. I can get my grains like I want them and the shipping is very fast! Keeps me from having to drive an hour to pick them up locally.
Has worked great twice for my Imperial summer wheat beer. I pitched at 67∞ and temperatures rose to 75∞. It gives more of a American wheat taste in my opinion. I've been extremely impressed by it. Both times that I've used it the attenuation has been around 89%.
Great yeast for my wheats.
