Great recipe. Conditioned on 2 jalapeños. Just the right amount of heat.

GREAT Cinco de Mayo beer

This was a really easy brew, I steeped for an hour, at around 152, mashed out, boiled and added a bottle of agave with 5 minutes left and another bottle at flame out, for a total of 23 ounces. SG at 1.050, FG at 1.006. Itís not a heavy beer by any stretch, if you or some of your friends like limes with their Texas/Mexico style beers, that works too. Itís a clean, crisp, easy drinking ale. Even at this volume, the agave is really subtle. I read up on agave brewing before doing this recipe and from what I read, the raw, dark agave is the most desirable and flavorful. Iíve brewed with Molasses (Porter) and itís far more distinctive, honey as well. For some reason, agave seems to be a more subtle character. Were I to do this recipe again, I may pull some of the mash and up the agave to 32 ounces... Or I may just use the same recipe again, as itís very good. But if you want the character of the agave to be ìpronounced" , youíll want to think about using a little more in the brew.

Excellent Klosch Style

Very nice, easy drinker that can be enjoyed by anyone who drinks beer. Outstanding floral aroma and well balanced flavor profile.
