Well Received

As others have mentioned, the instructions need some updating regarding the sugar. I thought it was a mistake as well. This drinks more like an IPA and has a lot of body and flavor. I used Wyeast 1056. Every one has loved it and I will definitely make it again.

Instructions need updating (1lb of sugar)

Luckily I read peoples questions/reviews as I was thinking I was just sent a pound of corn sugar by accident. Apparently you are supposed to add a pound of corn sugar to this recipe but it doesn't mention that ANYWHERE on the ingredients/instructions. I ordered 3 different kits so its not luck I could assume what this goes to, the way it was packaged -- so please update instructions for anyone else.

Loved it!

The other review was correct in that the color is off. It is very close on taste however. Most everyone that tried it liked it better than the actual Arrogant Bastard. I will definitely brew this again!

Wrong color...

Since the beer still needs proper conditioning, I can't give much of a review on taste, but I can say that this is nowhere near the color of Arrogant Bastard, as it is missing that deep red color, (as it stands, it looks much more like Ruination). OG was slightly low, but the attenuation still came through to provide an ABV of about 7.3%. Once it has had proper time to condition I will give a follow up.

Arrogant Bastard all grain recipe kit

This recipe is not a Arrogant Bastard its much better. Me and my friends think its more like a strong IPA. I would recommend this recipe or kit to any one. Great going AIH.
