Not great

Not great with 2 Liter soda bottles. Theyíre significantly taller than what the soda companies use and you need to torque them down which in turn causes leaks. Using them with amber bottles with more threads is probably the way to go, just donít expect a great seal on a 2 liter.

Protective ring

I have used three so far on 2L bottles and the cap WITH the protective ring appears longer then bottle thread will allow. Makes it difficult to get good seal, one bottle wasn't sealed until I noticed it didn't carb a few days later. Last night I used one of the caps a 2nd time, now without the protective ring, and it worked fine. I will remove the remainder of the rings before using.
