My Hefe goto yeast

I have used many other strains but always come back to WLP 300. Great banana/ clove flavors/ aroma while leaving body and great head in a wheat beer.

Go Bananas!!!

I love this yeast! I've used it several times for wheat beer, using the Hugh Hef weizen ingredients. It delivers that yummy banana nose that you find in Franziskaner which is my "marker" beer that I measure all wheat beers against. Nice thing too, is that it is a ale and doesn't need lagering temps. Definitely worth the few extra $$$. I'm brewing a dunkel right now. Can't wait to get it in my tummy. Check it out and enjoy!
