Faucet Adaptor For Sink

Make sure you check your sink thread before ordering. The hose adapter side is opposite of a female-threaded connection for sink faucets with a male-threaded end. If your sink is like mine, with a female-threaded connection where you would screw in your aerator, you won't be able to use this. It does have a male-threaded connection that fits my sink, but it's on the same side as the hose connection, so I can't use it for intended connection to my wort chiller. It appears as though it was intended to support it or other adapter cases. Otherwise it is a sturdy well machined piece.

This works really well, and allows me to still keep my aerator on the sink when not using the hose fitting. I'm giving it only 4 stars because the fit was so tight that I feared damaging the threading putting it on with a wrench, and some burrs on it cut my hand when I first started using it. Once it was on though, it's leak-free with no thread damage and almost unnoticeable. Perfect for my wort chiller in the slop sink.

I purchased two of these and one was perfect (the good) but the second one wasn't threaded on one end (both bad and ugly). The company was quick to send me a replacement which arrived in perfect condition.

Very Happy with this Product..made me a bit nervous at first, it's got a few different threads but don't worry keep flipping around to match your faucet threads up..WORKS AWESOME..also bought the Wort Chiller for 39.00 dollars to go with it..hooked up nice..Haven't gone wrong yet with any AIH Products...PAULIE 5/16/15
