Great

Just what I wanted ( and apparently everyone else I shared it with ). A little bit of sweet, a little bit of smokiness, and chipotle finish at the back of the throat. Delicious.

Good robust porter

This is a great kit. It was quick to make and tasted great. It has a lot of good strong roasted grain flavor, and was a big hit at our holiday party (along with the White Winter kit). The chipotle flavor is quite subdued, creating a rich background as opposed to an obvious pepper flavor.

Great and interesting winter beer

Definitely something different with the chipotle spice in it, but it makes for a little bit of a smoky flavor and a spicy aftertaste... not a beer you would want to keep drinking all night, but for one or two it's very good and just different enough from anything you can buy from the store!

Excellent Beer!

This is my 12th batch of homebrewing. I have to say this is the best beer I've brewed to date! Outstanding flavors, the pepper amount is just right, and all the flavors, outstanding! Great winter sipping beer.
