Excellent Yeast

Agree with the previous reviewer - best weizen yeast I've used. Used in a Dunkleweizen - just the right amount of spice in the aroma and in the taste. No noticeable fruity or bubblegum aroma or flavor.

Perfect Hefeweizen Flavor

I've tried several yeast stains to get (what I consider) that classic hefeweizen flavor. This seemed to have the most clove and spice of the strains that I've tried (sorry I can't remember which strains). I've also used this, with much success, in brewing hybrid wheat/IPA ales with excellent results. When paired with a tropical hop (such as mosaic) the product is a very juicy, fruity, spicey New England IPA, but with a wheat base.
