I was looking for a yeast that is inexpensive to use on my 1 gallon experimental ale batches that I wouldn't have to try and split up the yeast and waste the rest. This yeast was perfect for this use. It fermented very strong and fast but I was still able to use just the airlock without a blowoff tube. Gravities were as expected and beer tasted good. It cleaned up well.
I hope this is not disappointing to you, but I use brewers yeast to make pizza dough. The different yeasts create different flavors as they react with the proteins in the flour. All have been excellent. Thank you.
