Not worth it

Purchased this "high" end pump and paid the extra $100 for made in USA, well the March company does make pumps in the U.S. but not this one. So buy a similar size cheaper Chugger (has the same country of origin) and will work just as well. The pump itself is incredibly finicky, and the prime has become a huge hassle. It is not worth the extra expense.

Does exactly what it is supposed to

Does exactly what it is supposed to, and does it well. My only gripe is that it isn't self priming, which can make life difficult if you are pumping from pots without "ports" on them. However, I'm not sure if there is a wort pump on the market that primes itself... make sure to plan your brew layout accordingly.

Pump head

I bought two of these and the inlet and outlet ports were much smaller than 1/2" and very rough looking. I have a Chugger pump that has nice bores, just under 1/2" Quality of the pump head could be better.

Great price

The price is great for this pump, would be hard pressed to find this pump on an online auction site for this price. Pump works great as expected.

One of the best on the market

I've owned a couple brands of pumps, and they are OK, but March is the best of the best. I now own three of them, and will never go back to a lesser brand.
