I compared this along with 3 others & this was by far the best yeast for cider. Always crisp, clear & leaves a good apple flavor. This is the only yeast I use for my cider.
I had used exclusively White Labs cider yeast before trying this one. It produces great results, but costs quite a bit more and required a starter to get a decent pitch rate. This stuff was relatively cheap by comparison, but still produced fantastic cider. It produced a nice, estery profile that maintains the apple flavor (using US-05 one time did not do this) and is very easy to use. Highly recommended.
