This thermometer is great for being able to see the temperature of your wort coming out of your heat ex-changer. As it passes through the body it runs directly over the 2" probe and gives you an instant reading of your wort.
It is also a good way to monitor the temperature of your chilled wort as it comes out of your Counterflow wort chillers.
