Awesome, different, beer

Another awesome beer kit from these guys. I added a package of cocao nibs in secondary and itís perfect. The rye spice is perfectly blended with hoppyness and a smooth chocolate finish. If youíre reading this, youíre considering brewing it... just do it you wonít be disappointed!

Possible all time favorite!

This kit was a nice surprise- It seems like an odd combination of tastes, but it really comes together to make a lighter dark beer with an easy drinking style. It is not heavy like a porter or stout, thus the pale ale in the name. And it is not hoppy for a 'dry hopped' beer, just the right amount of flavor to make is noticeable but not hoppy. I had never used these hops before, so am pleasantly surprised by their nice flavor addition, but very little bitterness. I will definitely put this kit up with the best of the ones I have done and I have probably done at least 50 others! Will be getting this one again.

Wonderful

This is hands down one of my favorites so far. I love dark beer and this is as close to an ipa as I want to get. Highly recommend.

Smooth beer

I tried this one to change things up. The beer is dark, rich and smooth with a slight hint of chocolate . I am a big fan of chocolate beers. The chocolate flavor is more of an after thought on this one and not its star. First week in keg after force carbing it was good not great, 2nd week better, 3rd week really nice. Flavor and mouth feel really improved with nice thick carbonation. Overall a great beer for someone looking to try something different. Check out the vanilla porter as well.

Wow - really good

I love IPA's and decided to give this a try for a fall/winter brew. It's awesome and the chocolate is just noticeable. I don't know how it all works together but it does. Doing it again this winter.
