Brewers Best Blueberry Honey Ale

This is the second time I have made this beer. It starts with a nice honey ale and has a subtle blueberry finish. Per the directions I decided to only add about 2/3 of the blueberry flavoring. If you want more of a blueberry pop add the whole things. Overall very nice.

I usually add fresh or organic blueberry juice to the mix to increase the flavor..with little noticable effect. More blueberry aroma than actual taste... something about blueberries I guess.. but still I keep ordering it. Your taste may vary. I'd like more blueberry flavor myself. Overall, ...... I do keep brewing it!

This recipe is in my top 3 favorites. Got rave reviews from friends. In past brews, I wasn't satisfied with the carbonation so I added 4 tsp extra priming sugar and was elated at result.

I was pleasantly surprised by this kit. I have bought lots of kits from different sites and my local hbs, and this is by far the most complete kit I have purchased. I have not brewed yet but just felt the need to acknowledge what I see as a great value.
