With many Kegerators, the first glass of beer is often unmanageable foam. This happens because cold air is heavier than warm air and the cold air stays inside the Kegerator. Your beer tower is mounted on top of your Kegerator causing it to stay at room temperature. This means the top of the beer line, beer faucet & beer shank that are inside your tower stay warm until you pour that foamy first glass. After several glasses, these parts will cool down allowing you to pour perfect glasses of beer. The downside is, after as little as 15 minutes, the tower can warm again.

Installing a blower and hose into the bottom of your Kegerator is a quick fix to this issue. We have made this quick fix even easier with the Beer tower cooler kit!!

Great kegerator accessory

I can't add much more than Rich's great review above. I found everything he wrote to be true for me as well. I never tried my kegerator without this fan so I do not know how it would have been without this accessory, but for the price, I thought why bother fighting foaming problems. It does add a little more noise but the kegerator is in the garage where it does not bother anyone anyway.

Must have for a kegerator

Performs its function as intended. The fan is quiet, and moves a sufficient amount of air to cool the tower, beer lines and the faucets. No need to find a place to mount the fan, just cut the tubing to length so it reaches to just a couple inches below the top of the tower and friction fit the tubing up in the tower. Run the cord through your gas line port in the back of the kegerator, and you're done. Keeps everything cooled down, works great, and is well worth the money.
