It is a piece of rubber. It stops the beer from pouring out of the beer gun.

Easy to lose, hard to find

These little suckers turn up missing from your old-style Blichmann beer gun just when you're getting ready to use it again. Buy several and keep them in a safe place. It is too easy to knock them off and lose them, and the beer gun is useless without one of these in place.
