Awesome Entry Level SS Brewbucket

This is my first stainless steel fermenter, and I could not bee happier with my purchase. Cleanup is easy as can be, and as has been mentioned in other reviews, I really appreciate the headspace.

Awesome! Only 1 little complaint.

Absolutely love it. Made kegging easy. Clean up was even easier. No fussing with better bottle and swishing a sock around for a half hour to get gunk off the inside. The only complaint would be the markings are off by a quarter gallon. Wish I had bought it sooner.

Step up

My trusty plastic buckets were getting a green tint and an odor I could not get rid of so I decided to step up to a stainless fermenter. It cleans up like a champ and the valve makes transfers easy. No leaks, solidly made and less expensive than the SS one. True, the "conical" bottom is pretty shallow but better than the flat bottom buckets I used. The barb requires 1/2 inch tube so I had to run to the store before I could do the transfer but that is pretty minor. Don't hesitate, step up to stainless.

Fantastic Fermenter After a Few Modifications

First I have to say this is a great fermenter. The design works well for fermenting. The racking arm works as expected. Lid provides a tight seal during fermentation. I drilled two holes into the lid. One to install a compression thermowell. This allows me to monitor temp in the vessel during fermentation. The second hole was for a compression gas post. This allows me to do closed transfers from vessel to keg. Fermenter will only hold a few pounds of pressure but it's enough. Very satisfied with my purchase.
