6" x 14" SS Hop Filter with Adjustable Hook - 400 Micron

Worked well in the Anvil Foundry. The workmanship isn't great. The adjustable hanger had very sharp edges that I had to file and sand to avoid getting cut. Clipped a couple of screen wires protruding out as well.

I've eyed this a few times and made the jump when it was on sale. Glad I did! It does great at keeping the hop material separated from the wort without any noticeable loss in utilization (I use pellets). Easy to clean. It also fits snuggly in the middle of my wort chiller so I can continue to sanitize it in the boil while still using the filter. I would definitely recommend!

I had been hopping my beers with cheesecloth for dried hop cones or pellets in a tea steeper/infuser. This adjustable-height basket was a much easier way to hop using dried hops. It is a bit large for an 8-gallon brew kettle, but this is why I appreciate the ability to adjust the height. Wish there were instructions for assembly, but looking at the pictures here on the AIH site, I was able to figure it out.

An adjustable hop basket is a must and this one did not disappoint.

I'm so glad I bought this, found it on sale so jumped on it. Keeps the hops mostly contained so the beer is so much cleaner. Wish I would have bought it sooner.
