I ordered the 5 liter barrel first week of August. Received it the next week. It had no spigot and I emailed Adventure in Homebrewing that day and they said they would send one out immediately. It’s now been 3 weeks and another email sent and still no spigot. Don’t order it, seems the No Spigot is a common problem and they can’t get any in. No wonder it was on sale for 50% off. Not very happy. Can’t comment about anything else on the barrel because I can’t fill it. 😡
Be prepared not to be wowed. It's C quality at best. Its taken a week with filling it with water everyday and I think its finally sealing up. Still hesitant to fill with the good stuff.
Sealed up just fine in two days, left water in it for a couple more. It works and seems well made.
Great barrel! Easy to condition and no leaks so she now has white rum aging in it.
