It is very useful and speeds the racking process. It is not a one-time pump action to get it working.

Only used once but worked

So far so good.

bad seal

First time I used it there was air in line. Used 1/2 inch line but not a tight fit. Going to try zip tying next time to stop air from flowing in. Uutside of that worked ok.

This is an excellent investment for any homebrewer or winemaker.

Great Auto Siphon

Purchased this because it was long enough to rack out of my 15 gallon plastic fermentation container. Much faster than the 3/8 model and reached all the way to the bottom of the vessel.
